AAG Founder Andrew Wharton’s Statement:
I’m lucky to have found my passion early in life. Serving as a steward of our natural resources—working within the “Green Industry”—fulfills my sense of responsibility and respect for nature. Tree work is not just a job; it’s my lifestyle.
Whether it’s pruning an oak over a garage, felling a dead pine in the woods, or shearing a holly hedge by the drive, working outside is what I love and why I'm proud of my profession.
As a native North Carolinian, I’ve been fortunate to work on trees from Boone to Rocky Mount. These experiences have given me a true appreciation for the ecological diversity of our state.
Likewise, I employ only dedicated arborists who are also passionate about trees and have the training, skill and dedication to do this demanding job in a safe and professional manner.
This experience makes us an ideal partner to work with you on improving and maintaining the health of your tree and shrub resources.
